Hello friends,it's been a while! To be honest when I first started The Pink Tourist back in 2013, I dreamed of turning it into a full-fledged travel blog. That didn’t happen. After a very surprised marriage proposal on Christmas day the same year, then buying our home 10 months later, on Halloween, is the day we actually closed on the house! A beautiful wedding followed on 12.13.14 and we found out 6 months later I was pregnant. We’ve been a little too busy to think of doing any leisure travel. Fast forward to today, we have a beautiful, very spunky 4 year old and are enjoying life. Time just gets the best of you. Now to talk about the here and now, if you would have told me over 6 weeks ago it would have been my last day working at my office manager job and now home being home watching what's happening to our beautiful world with covid19 consuming everyone, I would have told you...

After a couple of weeks I realized something, my job I thought I would NOT be able to survive without, is survivable! Sure the money helps pay the bills but I think I forgot how resourceful of a person I actually am. I also know my family is very important to me and I’m going to do whatever I can to help keep us all safe. Something I have always wanted in life was to be home with my little one not missing her grow up and being able to support myself in the process is an amazing and very liberating feeling! My time off has given me a chance to find more time to devote to my creative inspiration and enjoying more freedom and family time. So I've decided to give my blog a total makeover. I have big goals for you my friends and I’m so dang excited to see where this all goes. I believe everyone has a little bit of a tourist in them somewhere and mine currently is going to be exploring more of my creative side so I may share that creativity with you. I’m happy to have you along for the ride! Stay tuned! I’m sending all my love & light to you. Please keep yourselves and the ones you hold dearest, safe.
xo, Kristy
