These are strange times.

Hello friends,it's been a while! To be honest when I first started The Pink Tourist back in 2013, I dreamed of turning it into a full-fledged travel blog. That didn’t happen. After a very surprised marriage proposal on Christmas day the same year, then buying our home 10 months later, on Halloween, is the day we actually closed on the house! A beautiful wedding followed on 12.13.14 and we found out 6 months later I was pregnant. We’ve been a little too busy to think of doing any leisure travel. Fast forward to today, we have a beautiful, very spunky 4 year old and are enjoying life. Time just gets the best of you. Now to talk about the here and now, if you would have told me over 6 weeks ago it would have been my last day working at my office manager job and now home being home watching what's happening to our beautiful world with covid19 consuming everyone, I would have told you...
No. Way.

After a couple of weeks I realized something, my job I thought I would NOT be able to survive without, is survivable! Sure the money helps pay the bills but I think I forgot how resourceful of a person I actually am. I also know my family is very important to me and I’m going to do whatever I can to help keep us all safe. Something I have always wanted in life was to be home with my little one not missing her grow up and being able to support myself in the process is an amazing and very liberating feeling! My time off has given me a chance to find more time to devote to my creative inspiration and enjoying more freedom and family time. So I've decided to give my blog a total makeover. I have big goals for you my friends and I’m so dang excited to see where this all goes. I believe everyone has a little bit of a tourist in them somewhere and mine currently is going to be exploring more of my creative side so I may share that creativity with you. I’m happy to have you along for the ride! Stay tuned! I’m sending all my love & light to you. Please keep yourselves and the ones you hold dearest, safe.

Current project...working on a mini album for Baby Smith.

Cover is waiting to find out if we'll have a boy or  girl too!!
Sneak peek photos and I'll share finished album soon.

If Baby Smith is a Boy......

......waiting is the hard part......

......or if Baby Smith is a Girl.

In the mean time enjoy this fun project.

 Finally decided on page layout!
Still thinking about how to finish the white leaves.....then the idea came.
Emboss the edges with a pretty light pink powder.

A layout PERFECT for a photo of my love and I's Christmas Engagement selfie photo

1st Dr appointment and baby bumps

Aug 4th - 9:30am

13 weeks

My momma always told me growing up that "patience is a virtue".
This appointment has taken f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get here!!

Our 1st baby Dr appointment with Dr Graham.

Jeff met me at his office.  Looking back I decided that he was very nervous.
He was a good sport though and the appointment went great!

Walt was my Doctor who delivered Zac.
I didn't want any one else, it just wasn't an option!

I'm excited that he'll be the one to deliver Baby Smith!!
A perfect name for our little one in the next coming months.

Official due date....February 9th!!!
Mama and baby are doing well and Daddy got to hear Baby Smith's heartbeat too!!

Mom, my kids and I spent part of the afternoon together.
My sister Brittne was requesting a 1st baby bump photo...so here it is.  Sorry it's just a selfie.

Love my glow.
